:: It didn't seem like a good idea to start designing from scratch while on a deadline, so a February it is, for the new little doll. (I do love these little doll sweaters. Such quick knits; instant gratification at its finest!)
:: Following Karen's wonderful advice, I have been knitting a little bit on George's birthday sweater each night. She suggested a half hour a day, but I've been inconsistent; some days I find time for only one round and others I knit on it for a whole hour. It is knitting up amazingly quickly. I think she may be on to something with this approach...
:: The Heart of Buddhism is, literally, on my nightstand these days. I am reading a page or two before bed every night.
:: More immediately, I am re-reading—closely, this time—my Enki Early Childhood Teaching Guide. We've fallen badly out of rhythm since the holidays and I am struggling to set things right. I'm also trying to get a handle on the Kindergarten material so that I have a better understanding of where we'll be headed next year.
:: Socks from the Toe Up. The women in my knitting group are a horrible influence on me and I have succumbed to the peer pressure and started playing around with sock yarn. I think I'm beginning to get the hang of it. This could be the start of a terrible addiction...
