:: Would you believe I still haven't finished my Balsam? I had to rip it back some, and the weather has turned warm for a few days, so it fell a few spots down my priority list. I would like to get it finished soon, though, even if I just pack it away to wear next year.
:: Turning my mind toward spring, I cast on a cap-sleeved spring shirt for Julia. I liked the way Ginny's turned out, so I am mostly following her notes, but I am using larger needles than the pattern calls for because it is sized very small.
:: I am super excited about Angela's latest pattern, which she released yesterday. And—through the end of March she is offering another pattern at half-price with the purchase of the Middle Beach scarf pattern from her Ravelry shop. (I couldn't take advantage of this sale because I already own all of her patterns, but I thought I'd share the love...)
:: I cannot seem to focus, lately, on long and involved reading—I think my brain is finally rebelling against the sleep deficit that has been building up these last few weeks—so I've been carrying a few magazines with me everywhere. The first issue of Mindful arrived in my mailbox last week, and this week I've been reading the latest Mother Earth Living.
Joining Ginny at small things, as always...
