Today, I am...
:: changing and storing; folding and putting away; folding and packing. (It seems like I am almost always in the middle of packing when I write these, doesn't it?)
:: discovering that over-proved bread is just as tasty (even if it does look a little strange).
:: enjoying the cool winter-ish light coming in through the windows.
:: shivering, a bit, at the thought of being outside in this freezing weather.
:: pondering what a long winter it's going to be, if it's as cold as this all the way through until March.
:: looking forward to seeing this guy tomorrow.
:: hoping our plans for a surprise work out the way we would like them to.
:: packing sufficient knitting for a long drive to Connecticut and another long drive back. (Priorities...)
:: wishing we would be seeing more of my parents during this long holiday week.
:: planning to travel just a little but farther the next trip, so that we can spend more time with them at Christmas.
:: wondering how it's possible that five years have passed just like that.
:: listening in on the stories and games they invent in their amazing little minds.
:: stopping, for just a moment, to breathe before the full rush of this season begins in earnest tomorrow.
:: thinking about all the beautiful things in my life for which I am very grateful indeed.
:: wishing you a lovely end-of-November.
